Born in Winchester, Virginia and relocated to Western Maryland in which he spent the majority of his childhood, Stephen attended Calvary Christian Academy during his early years. Son of Stephen David Lancaster I, Rocket Scientist at Alliant Techsystems, a supplier of aerospace and defense products to the U.S. Government, young Lancaster was raised holding the military in high regard.
At the age of ten, Lancaster experienced, witnessed and was subjected to a strange and violent paranormal occurrence. Immediately following this experience, he began educating himself on the possibilities of life beyond death by exposing himself to a wide array of literature ranging from the occult to religion to finally landing on the scientific plain of paranormal research.

In his late teens, Stephen studied under two separate Sensei's during his four and half years of Martial Arts educating himself on Asian philosophies, meditation, discipline, self reliance and of course, self defense. Amidst his training in both Tae Kwon Do and Hop Ki Do, Lancaster had the privilege of studying under Jhoon Rhee (the founder of Tae Kwon Do) and Danny Lane, thirty year student of Chuck Norris at Radford University in Virginia.
During college, Lancaster focused on Psychology and Sociology and Music.
Over the course of the next decade, Stephen continued to research paranormal phenomena. Religion, Extraterrestrial existence, Cryptozoology, Egyptology, Archaeology and life after death were his main focus. Lancaster began investigating and researching alleged claims ranging from local folklore, witchcraft, alien abductions, telekinesis, and last but not least, ghost sightings.
In 1999, Stephen and his wife relocated to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where he would later assemble a Paranormal Investigation Team called the P.I.T. Crew.
In 2008, Stephen began producing a program which focused on the reality of the research he and his team conduct. Lancaster created "monsterVisionTV," an independent show that documents paranormal research from the perspective of the investigators. Since the launch of the program, monsterVisionTV has been featured on NBC, CBS, SpikeTV and in dozens of news publications. Now partnered with video titan youTube, monsterVisionTV has a fanbase of over 20,000 people on the popular video network alone. monsterVisionTV is currently in its fourth season.
Stephen has been a guest on numerous paranormal radio programs, been the subject of countless websites and has become the "go to" guy for many in the field.
At the beginning of 2010, Lancaster released a paranormal program for children called, "Kid Paranormal" in which his daughter Lucidity Lancaster holds the reigns as a youth Paranormal Investigator with the goal of researching the claims deriving from children.
Stephen is currently producing a new unannounced paranormal program alongside two other reputable producers. No further information has been released at this time.
Stephen Lancaster is a strong advocate for Paranormal Research and publicly supports many groups in their efforts to further study the field. Lancaster's official site can be found here.
